Through “Me and My Guys, ” I invites us to reflect on our own childhood memories and the delicate balance between freedom and safety. The caution line, while serving as a physical barrier, also symbolizes the emotional and psychological boundaries that shape our early years. This artwork is deeply personal, drawing inspiration from my childhood experiences. The simple pleasure of riding a bicycle, a staple of youthful joy, was something I was cautioned against. This complex mix of desire and restraint is palpable in this piece.
