Artist Statement
My body of works portrays both natural and anthropomorphic characters; The human portraits express both genders in their natural form, whilst my animal figures are presented in human bodies wearing outfits similar to those worn by renowned African and western leaders. brMy use of vibrant colors and playful elements in my paintings have captivated audiences, while my attention to detail and emotional depth and depth to my work. My paintings offer a unique perspective on the human experience and serve as a reflection of my thoughts and feelings and the world around us. brSamuel’s work shows moods that can be sympathized with; the expressions on the faces of my portraits give a sense of connection. They communicate matters that are either experienced or have been witnessed. In aspiring to make my work a means of self-reflection, I works towards bringing ease through the messages my paintings address.
