Ala njo: Rock-bottomville
Oil on Canvas painting
Ala njo: Rock-bottomville brBorn from the shadows, from arid grounds destined to wither and wilt with the wind of time, brIm a cut out stock from the lineage of bereavement, brLost in the valley of dried bones. A sanctuary of catacombs, slime pits and quicksand, brThe neighbourly embrace of shame caresses my brows- etched in my thoughts are the tattooed insignia of how flawed an origin nature callously bequeathed me. brCan anything good come from Nazareth! brA people lowly esteemed, yet determined to sit on platforms fit for Kings. Snap out of it! The echoes of the past knocks my brain cold to not dream big. This is real life, yet I choose to dine with the fantasies of finding the Eden I crave. brFear is for the brave, for its grim taste fills up his mouth to puke out courage. I just lost my eighth life on the last try, yet Ill still squander the last till I arrive Edens shores.
